By accessing or using Molt ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Molt provides managed hosting for Moltbot, an open-source personal AI assistant. These Terms govern your use of our hosting platform and related services.

2. Description of Service

Molt provides cloud-based hosting infrastructure for running Moltbot instances. Our Service includes:

  • Provisioning and management of isolated container environments
  • Automatic SSL certificate management
  • Subdomain allocation (yourname.usemolt.bot)
  • Automatic software updates
  • Technical support as specified by your plan

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Send spam, phishing attempts, or malicious content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other systems or networks
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed on a monthly subscription basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms or as required by law. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers who are not satisfied with the Service.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

6. Free Trial

We offer a 7-day free trial for new users. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. Your instance and data will be preserved during the transition.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of all data you store or process through your Moltbot instance. We do not access, monitor, or analyze your conversations or data unless required for technical support that you explicitly request.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for the Service. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.

We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or damages resulting from service interruptions, whether planned or unplanned.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we may delete your instance and associated data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Molt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
